Steelers unveil new Color Rush uniforms

PITTSBURGH — The Steelers plan to ‘black out’ the Ravens when the two division rivals meet on Christmas Day.

Tuesday, the team unveiled the Color Rush uniforms that the players will wear for the first time during the December game.

The uniforms feature a black jersey and black pants. This will be the first time the team has worn all black.

The Color Rush uniforms were designed by Nike. According to a release by the Steelers, they are being featured mostly on Thursday Night Football games.

However, since the Steelers/Ravens game is one of only two games on Christmas Day, the decision was made for the Steelers to wear them that day.
