PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Penguins are getting one of their top forwards back, as Patric Hornqvist was activated from injured reserve on Saturday, the team announced.
To make room for Hornqvist on the active roster, Pittsburgh re-assigned forward Thomas Di Pauli to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Hornqvist missed the past 10 games due to a lower-body injury. In that stretch, the Penguins have gone 8-2, keeping pace with the top teams in the Metropolitan Division.
The Penguins still have several players out with injuries, including Sidney Crosby, Brian Dumoulin and Justin Schultz.
Pittsburgh finishes a home-and-home series with the Nashville Predators at PPG Paints Arena at 7 p.m.
