Hornqvist missed the past 10 games due to a lower-body injury. In that stretch, the Penguins have gone 8-2, keeping pace with the top teams in the Metropolitan Division.

The Penguins still have several players out with injuries, including Sidney Crosby, Brian Dumoulin and Justin Schultz.

Pittsburgh finishes a home-and-home series with the Nashville Predators at PPG Paints Arena at 7 p.m.
