Penguins host 40 players at annual prospect development camp

PITTSBURGH — ThePenguins camp will run from June 28 until July 1 at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry.

This year’s camp roster will include the six players drafted by the Penguins in the 2017 NHL draft in Chicago.

The roster is led by Pittsburgh's top choice, defenseman Zachary Lauzon, who was chosen in the second round, 51st overall.

The camp includes 24 forwards, 12 defensemen and four goaltenders.

Fans are able to attend all of the on-ice practices, including the 3-on-3 camp-concluding scrimmage on Saturday at 3 p.m.

The first practice sessions will be on Wednesday. Team A will practice from 2:15-3 p.m. followed by Team B from 3:15-4 p.m.
