Dry, warm weekend on the way

PITTSBURGH — After light morning showers, conditions will be dry through the rest of the weekend. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with warm weather this afternoon. Highs will reach near 80 degrees this afternoon. With humidity under control, this afternoon should feel nice for most people. Part two of the weekend will bring more warmth and another opportunity for outdoor activities. Highs will be in the 80s with a mostly sunny sky tomorrow.

Next week, you will need your umbrella and coat again. A cold front will ignite showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening. A few showers will linger into Tuesday morning. Cooler air settles behind the cold front and we will feel the temperature difference Tuesday and Wednesday. There will be about a 40-degree difference from highs this weekend to highs during the middle of the week.
