PITTSBURGH — A storm dropped several inches of snow across western Pennsylvania, with the highest amounts in the ridges and lower amounts up through Beaver, Butler and points north.

Watch for icy spots as you head out early Sunday morning. Steady snow will gradually wind down by sunrise, but wet roads and sidewalks could refreeze as temperatures hover in the 20s.

Severe Weather Team 11's latest forecast is always available in the WPXI News App.

Severe Weather Team 11 has been tracking this snow-maker for nearly a week and -- as expected -- the heaviest snow totals are coming in south of Pittsburgh, where folks are using shovels and snow blowers.

Enough snow for sledding fell around Pittsburgh, and with temperatures Sunday climbing near the freezing mark, it should be a great day to enjoy time outdoors with family and friends.
