Next chance of rain holds off until Wednesday evening

PITTSBURGH — There will be sun and clouds this afternoon and it will get warmer, with highs in the low 80s.

Temperatures will heat up a bit more Wednesday, with higher humidity and breezy conditions — wind gusts could reach up to 25 mph and highs will be in the mid 80s.

Showers and storms are possible Wednesday evening and late at night. A few storms could become severe, with steady rain at times. Make sure to check the latest forecast for Wednesday night and have a way to stay weather-aware.

Thursday will be humid with rain and some thunder; highs will be in the mid 70s.

Friday will be pleasant and sunny with highs in the mid 70s. It’s warmer this weekend, with a slight chance of a few showers or a storm on Saturday evening, with a few leftover showers Sunday morning.
