You’ll need to layer up to start the weekend

PITTSBURGH — Layer up if you’re headed out to rake leaves or hit the trails Saturday. Temperatures will start out below freezing, then make a slow crawl to crack 50 degrees.

If you can, wrap up your outdoor projects by evening, because wet weather rolls in Sunday.

Showers should move into the area before sunrise Sunday, with the steadiest rain mid-morning through early afternoon.

The bigger weather story Sunday could be the wind. Wind gusts are forecast to blow as high as 35 mph to 40 mph and a Wind Advisory could be issued.
