Missing Bradenville woman found, safe, state police say

DERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — UPDATE: Georgetta Marshall has been located and is safe, state police say.

______________

ORIGINAL STORY: Pennsylvania State Police say a missing Bradenville woman was possibly seen early Saturday morning in Unity Township.

Trooper Cliff Greenfield said Georgetta Marshall, 63, was reported missing by family Saturday after she left her home on Route 982 in Derry Township, possibly on foot and without her medications. She was initially reported to have been seen last on Friday around 7:30 p.m.

Now troopers say a newspaper delivery person contacted them, reporting they may have seen Marshall around 5 a.m. Saturday in Unity Township. The delivery person reported seeing a woman matching Marshall’s description along Mission Road near Hemlock Drive, walking toward Route 30.

State Police are asking residents and businesses in the area to check surveillance footage for Marshall and contact 911 with any information.

Marshall is described as a white woman who stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. She has blue eyes and grey shoulder-length hair.

Marshall was last seen wearing black sweatpants and a black hooded sweatshirt with the word “Pink” in silver lettering on the back. She may also have silver beads on both arms and may not be wearing shoes.

State police are being assisted by several agencies, including the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department Bloodhound Team, in their search for Marshall.

Anyone who sees Marshall or knows where she may be should contact 911 immediately.
