MCCANDLESS, Pa. — Crews are working to repair a significant water main break at a busy McCandless Township intersection.
Earlier, water was bubbling up out of the ground right at the corner of Ingomar and Bellcrest roads, which is right where Ingomar Elementary School is located.
It appears that the break is at a building that houses a barber shop at the bottom.
West View Water Authority said that the break is big and impacting customers, but did not have specifics on how many people are affected.
The superintendent of North Allegheny School District told Channel 11 that there are no changes to the school day at Ingomar Elementary School.
