Want the 411 on the 412? “Access Pittsburgh” has you covered with top stories!
National holidays for all the foodies:
Friday is a great day for all the foodies out there because not only is it National Pizza Party Day, but it’s also National Chocolate Chip Day, and we want you to safely celebrate both!
For starters, we’ve created a list of 11 recipes that call for chocolate chips, like a classic chocolate chip cookie or chocolate chip muffin.
And, of course, we had to try out a banana bread recipe for ourselves.
So grab your aprons and get baking!
Now is also the perfect time to try one of our Pittsburgh’s Best Pizza places for National Pizza Party Day.
You all voted and crowned Shelly Pie Pizza in Turtle Creek as Pittsburgh’s Best Pizza with Capezzuto’s and Minos in the top three as well, so give them a try on Friday.
Beverly Hills Dog Show:
One of the cutest nights on television is ready to take over your TVs Sunday night: the annual Beverly Hills Dog Show presented by Purina.
The show combines the star power of Hollywood and the canine world and will have appearances from dog-loving celebrities.
This week, “See and Be Seen” had the chance to sit down with co-host John O’Hurley who had a lot to say about what we can expect to see.
Don’t miss all the action with our four legged friends on Sunday at 8 p.m. on Channel 11.
Activities and crafts for the kiddos as weather heats up:
It’s officially starting to warm up, and we’re really hoping it stays that way!
With the weather heating up and kids schooling from home, we thought we would create a list of fun outdoor activities and crafts to do with the kiddos to keep them busy.
From nature walk scavenger hunts to K-cup masterpieces, there are tons of fun activities to get the kids outside and excited for the spring weather.
Heinz Ketchup Puzzle:
Heinz released a ketchup puzzle made of 570 pieces.
And guess what else? The pieces are all the same color: red.
The company said on Instagram that “this might be the slowest puzzle on earth.”
Heinz has asked followers to tag who they would do the puzzle with. It is still not clear how many puzzles they will give away.
