Warriors in Pink Mustang Parade
The need for routine care is important, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic, and people are finding unique ways to show the importance.
Neighborhood Ford Store, Ford Warriors in Pink and the Greater Pittsburgh Mustang Club teamed up with Washington Health System to host a mustang parade and “drive home” the message reminding women to keep getting regular mammograms.

The parade started in the Washington Health System parking lot then hit the highway and featured nine Mustang Club members and their ponies who lined up behind the Mustang of Dan Wind of Washington Ford -- and of course -- The group decorated their cars with big pink balloons and themselves with Warrior in Pink bandannas, which brought tons of smiles.
This is a cause that hits home for Washington Ford.
“As a Ford dealer myself and as a breast-cancer survivor, Ford’s Warriors in Pink program and Quilt For The Cure are very special programs to me personally. I am so grateful for the participation of Washington Ford, the Greater Pittsburgh Mustang Club and all the assistance from Washington Health System’s Women’s Center. If you ever had to deal with breast cancer in your family, you’ll realize that it takes a lot of people coming together to provide treatment, care, comfort, hope and love,” said Mrs. Wagler, chairperson of the 80 dealers who make up Neighborhood Ford Store.
Ford Warriors in Pink is dedicated to helping those touched by breast cancer through actions that support, inspire and empower.
Since 1993, they have donated $138 million to the cause.
