Billy Porter movie looking for cast members in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Think you can pass as a high school student? Have a background in dance, music or theater? A film directed by Billy Porter needs extras here in Pittsburgh.

Mosser Casting is looking for people of all races, gender identities, sizes and abilities aged 15-20 for various scenes of “What If?” The scenes won’t require actual dancing but will require a good rhythm to walk to the beat.

Here are the specifics if you’re interested:

  • Must have open availability for 12-hour days starting early mornings from July 19-30. You will work one to 10 days during that span. Minors will work 9-to-10 hour days.
  • Pay is $11.25 per hour for the first eight hours, then time and a half.
  • Must be able to attend a wardrobe fitting in advance of the shoot date, as well as several COVID-19 tests. COVID-19 tests are required despite vaccination status.
  • Must have a vehicle to get to filming, testing and fitting in Bridgeville.
  • Minors under the age of 18 must have a guardian present on set, for wardrobe fitting and for COVID-19 tests. Guardians must also be in the testing cadence.
