COVID-19 UPDATE from Southern Tier Brewing Company- At Southern Tier PGH, we want you to know that we are thinking about everyone within our community – our employees, guests, suppliers & other local businesses & breweries – as we all work through the unprecedented effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are closely monitoring Coronavirus & following the current guidance from the CDC & leading government & health authorities to ensure the right actions are taken to protect our guests, employees & the communities where we operate. We wanted to take this opportunity to inform you of some of the policies & procedures that we’ve put in place surrounding COVID-19 to maintain a safe & healthy environment for our guests and staff. • We are 100% compliant with all CDC restaurant & food service guidelines. • Our staff has been instructed to follow guidance from health authorities regarding hygiene, personal travel & we have reinforced our company’s position for employees to stay home if they feel sick. • In addition to be 100% compliant with CDC guidelines, we are implementing additional steps to improve customer & staff well-being: o Moving to single use menus & pens & we will not be refilling glasses from pitchers. o Asking host staff to be mindful of social distancing principles when seating guests. o Implementing an employee health log to track illness & recovery and will be doing temperature checks on all production & taproom staff. We have a great staff here & we are encouraging them to look out for each other & take the proper precautions. We recognize the heightened concern around this issue & we are taking these actions so that you can be confident that you’ll find a safe, clean and pleasant environment for you to enjoy. For now, we continue to maintain normal operations but will monitor the situation & will make any adjustments to our plans as needed. We appreciate the trust you have in STBC & we will work to continue to earn that every day. Have a great weekend. The STBC Taproom Team
