PITTSBURGH — As communities across our area practice social distancing and follow stay-at-home orders, local neighborhoods are doing what they can to keep kids entertained.
Homes in Squirrel Hill, Green Tree Borough and Mars are placing stuffed animals, like teddy bears, in the front windows. Other neighborhoods participating include:
- Glen Eden in Cranberry
That way when kids are walking through the neighborhood with their families, they can participate in a ‘Teddy Bear Search.’
Some communities are asking if a home doesn’t have any animals, to color or draw a photo of an animal and put it in their front window to liven the walks of people social distancing.
