PITTSBURGH — With just about two weeks until the EQT Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta, big announcements are being made about the final details for the 40th anniversary celebration.
Some of the water, land and air events include the Red Bull Flugtag competition, powerboat racing, fireworks and live music by Easton Corbin and Smashmouth.

“EQT is proud to once again be the title sponsor of the annual Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta, which takes full advantage of everything that Pittsburgh and its rivers have to offer," said Natalie Cox, EQT corporate director of communications. “This year’s 40th anniversary celebration will feature fun, new events and entertainment that are sure to excite loyal Regatta-goers and newcomers/novices alike!” she said.
The three-day land, air and water festival is the largest inland regatta in the nation and one of the tri-state region’s largest summer events.
The EQT Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta kicks off Aug. 4 and runs through Aug. 6.
