PITTSBURGH (AP) — Authorities say one person has died in a fire in a Pittsburgh-area residence.
Emergency dispatchers say the blaze was reported at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday in a two-story apartment building in Brentwood.
One person was taken to UPMC Mercy, where the victim was pronounced dead.
The Allegheny County medical examiner's office confirmed the death but had no further information.
Details on the cause of the blaze were not immediately available.
