STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman told Channel 11 News she was awakened early Monday morning by two men running through her Stowe Township home.
The woman, who did not want to be identified, and her 2-year-old son were sleeping about 4 a.m. when she said the men got into her house on Russellwood Avenue through a kitchen window.
Police searched the area for the men, who they said demanded the woman’s cash, phone and electronics. The woman said she last saw the men in the back of her home.
“There were a lot of cops up and down the street. I didn’t know what the deal was,” neighbor Andrew Alston said.
Residents told Channel 11's Renee Kaminski that Monday's home invasion is just another example of the random violence plaguing their neighborhood.
“Somebody actually just got shot right down the street. I stay out of the way,” Alston said.
