Walmart will offer free online grocery pickup service at five Pittsburgh-area stores starting Aug. 23.
The service lets customers order groceries online and pick up their orders at their local Walmart store without leaving their cars. There is no charge for the service, which will be available at the following stores:
•
Beaver Falls - 100 Chippewa Town Center, Beaver Falls, PA 15010
•
Butler - 400 Butler Commons, Butler, PA 16001
•
Robinson Township - 250 Summit Park Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15275
•
Tarentum - 2010 Village Center Drive, Tarentum, PA 15084
•
Uniontown - 355 Walmart Drive, Uniontown, PA 15401
Customers can visit walmart.com/grocery online or through the Walmart Grocery mobile app, then enter their ZIP codes to select a local store and create their shopping lists. During checkout, customers select a time to pick up their orders. Once a customer arrives at the pickup location, there will be reserved parking spaces marked in orange, and a designated number to call to alert an associate. An associate will then retrieve the prepared order and load it into the customer’s car.
Walmart’s grocery pickup service features 30,000 items, according to a news release from the company. All items are priced at the same prices customers find in their local Walmart store.
