Since Aug. 21, five students have tested positive for COVID-19 and 17 students are currently in quarantine after this most recent positive test.

According to the school’s COVID-19 dashboard, “individuals in quarantine have shown symptoms and are awaiting test results or have been exposed to an infected person.”

School officials said the four other students who previously tested positive are still in isolation -- whether that be on or off campus.

RMU’s first day of classes was Aug. 31, and the university has operated under a hybrid model with both in-person and virtual learning.
