Kiski Area School District suspends football activities due to COVID-19 exposure

LEECHBURG, Pa. — The Kiski Area school district suspended all football activities Tuesday after a COVID-19 exposure.

The district says its following all health department and PIAA guidelines by suspending activities for 14days from the date of the exposure.

The team’s scrimmage against Franklin Regional has been canceled and their first two games have been postponed.

The team had to postpone the games because the PIAA requires 5 consecutive days of heat acclimation followed by 10 practices prior to competing in the first game.
