LEECHBURG, Pa. — The Kiski Area school district suspended all football activities Tuesday after a COVID-19 exposure.
The district says its following all health department and PIAA guidelines by suspending activities for 14days from the date of the exposure.
The team’s scrimmage against Franklin Regional has been canceled and their first two games have been postponed.
Effective immediately, the Kiski Area School District is suspending all Varsity and JV football activities due to an identified COVID exposure. We will resume normal football related activities on Thursday September 10.

The team had to postpone the games because the PIAA requires 5 consecutive days of heat acclimation followed by 10 practices prior to competing in the first game.

The football program will resume football activities on Sept. 10.
