LONDON — Even royals get the first-day-of-school jitters.
Britain's Princess Charlotte, the daughter of Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, smiled shyly for the cameras Thursday as she arrived at Thomas's Battersea in London for her first day at the private school.
Alongside Charlotte, 4, were her parents and older brother, 6-year-old Prince George, who has attended the school since 2017, according to People magazine. Charlotte previously attended Willcocks Nursery School, the outlet reported.
Kensington Palace shared a video Thursday morning of the uniform-clad siblings shaking hands with Helen Haslem, head of the lower school at Thomas's Battersea. Within two hours, the clip had been viewed more than 500,000 times.
