PITTSBURGH — Brandon Guy is long into a thorough tour of his $52.7 million development adventure when he drops a confession.
“I’m not going to lie,” said Guy of the new Helm on the Allegheny, a 219-unit riverfront apartment project his Steel Street Capital developed in the Strip District. “There were definitely nights where I thought to myself, ‘oh my God, I’m going to go bankrupt.’ Early on, when we were going through this process, I was biting my nails.”
