BRENTWOOD, Pa. — PNC Financial Services Group Inc. is upgrading its Brentwood drive-thru location, increasing capacity.
Construction at the site, 3701 Saw Mill Run Blvd., is to begin next week.
“Three new drive-thru ATMs are planned to open on May 31 at this location in place of the one ATM and teller window,” a PNC (NYSE: PNC) spokeswoman said via email on Thursday. “There are no staff impacts. Shifts in the way customers are conducting their banking transactions are important inputs that inform decisions like this one.”
PNC continues to fine-tune its brick-and-mortar presence across its coast-to-coast footprint. That ranges from building smaller, technology-intensive offices PNC calls solution centers in its newest markets to new construction in legacy markets in Pittsburgh where two or sometimes three branches are consolidated.
