PITTSBURGH — The U.S. News & World Report has released its rankings of the best hotels in the nation, including a list of the best hotels in the state of Pennsylvania.
Four Pittsburgh hotels made the top 25 in the statewide list, with two making the top 10. The rankings are based on industry awards, hotel star ratings and reviews from visitors.
The Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh came in eighth place for hotels across the Commonwealth. The 4.5-star hotel was the recipient of two awards in 2021: the Condé Nast Readers Choice List and the AAA/CAA Four Diamond Award. The rankings described the hotel as a “quirky boutique property,” but noted that it does not have a pool.
