PITTSBURGH — Big Burrito Restaurant Group may have been carefully managing its resources to get through the worst of the pandemic but that doesn’t mean the company isn’t poised to expand.
Walnut Capital announced that Big Burrito will open its new pizza concept, AVP, an extension of its Alta Via restaurant brand, in the new conservatory space built as part of the development firm’s refresh buildout at Bakery Square.
Gregg Perelman, founding partner and CEO of Walnut Capital, called the new restaurant a “fantastic” addition to Bakery Square expected to open in the fall.
