MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA — Firefighters in Melbourne, Australia were able to bring a construction site fire under control today, but not before the blaze caused a massive crane collapse.
Cameras were rolling as crews battled the fire ten stories up.
As the flames spread, the crane's giant arm came crashing to the ground, dragging heavy cables through a parking lot as it fell. No one was hurt.
Officials believe the incident was the result of an electrical fire that started in the crane's motor.
