POTTSBORO, TEXAS — A Texas company is cashing in on one of the latest crazes, adults indulging their childhood dreams.
They call it Extreme Sandbox and like all things big, it's in Texas.
Pottsboro's Tanglewood Resort is the second location the heavy equipment attraction is drawing a crowd to. Giant 25 ton excavators full of smiling grownups with 10 acres of play space. CEO Randy Stenger started the company four years ago in Minnesota after his kids tipped him off to an idea one day while driving by a construction site.
People ages 14 and older can cross the adventure off their bucket list by playing with everything from excavators to bulldozers.
You don't even need previous knowledge in handling the equipment.
After a quick video lesson, instructors will then walk you through every step of the way via headset.
