PITTSBURGH,None — The social networking website Facebook has a new feature that works similarly to the website Craigslist.
The site is now allowing users to post items for sale. If a consumer finds something they like, it's up to the user and seller to work out the details of the sale.
The feature can be found under the groups section. In Pittsburgh, it is called the "Burgh Online Market."
The site claims that it is easier to track interest on an item for sale because it allows users to post messages below the item and sellers do not need to include a phone number on the initial listing.
