NORTH SALT LAKE, UTAH — Authorities in Utah have released dashcam video showing the moment that a train slammed into a FedEx truck.
The North Salt Lake police officer's dashcam shows the train just missing the truck's cab.
The crash was reported around 10 a.m. Saturday.
The video shows that the train crossing arms were not down and the lights were not flashing to warn drivers of the approaching train. The crossing arms activated and lowered after the collision.
It's believed that the crossing arms might have been affected by heavy snow and ice.
There were no serious injuries. About 80 passengers were on board the commuter train at the time. Two people were treated for minor injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
