Homestead Man Convicted In 1979 Murders Files Federal Appeal

PITTSBURGH,None — A Homestead man on death row for the killing of four people in 1979 has filed a federal appeal.

John Lesko claims prosecutors withheld documents that would have undermined two key witnesses at his trial.

Lesko and co-defendant Michael Travaglia were convicted of killing four people, including Apollo police officer Leonard Miller.
