Police have tied a man to a wild crime spree, accusing him of breaking into houses, stealing cars, credit cards, even carjacking a man who tried to help him after crashing one of those stolen cars.
Pennsylvania State Police are taking over this case because Ivan Sadler is going to be charged with crimes in three counties.
11 Investigates confirmed that Sadler also will face charges for a brazen burglary and theft from an Ingram home earlier this week.
The Ingram police chief told Channel 11 they believe Sadler is the man who broke into the home while the homeowners and their two children were asleep, stealing the homeowner's purse, credit cards and brand-new car.

Investigators say that was the third car Sadler stole in a four-day crime spree that started last Saturday when he allegedly broke into a Washington home, stealing that homeowner's wallet, credit cards and her car.
Sadler was then allegedly caught on surveillance video at a Washington convenience store before crashing the stolen car on I-79 Sunday. Police say he then stole a good Samaritan's truck and dragged that man 100 feet down the road.
"Now that they got him, now that he's off the street, I guess what I'm really wondering is, did he have anybody else help him?” said victim Todd Krut.
Investigators believe Sadler ditched that truck in Ingram and then broke into the home on Wynne Avenue, stealing a third car.
Sadler was finally picked up Thursday on a warrant for a parole violation.
Police say they then realized he was behind the crime spree.
Those charges will be for stealing cars in Washington and Allegheny counties. He’s also facing charges in Butler where he allegedly used some of the stolen credit cards.
