ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — Investigators have confirmed to Channel 11 News that the Allegheny County Bomb Squad was called to a home in Independence Township Tuesday afternoon.
Chopper 11 flew over the scene in the 3300 block of Route 151 and showed lots of activity at the home.
Special Agent Steve Bartholomew told Channel 11 News the situation is an ATF investigative action.
Bartholomew said no arrests have been made and the house remains occupied.
According to Bartholomew, officers are working on securing all the items in the yard. If the items need to be disposed of, they’ll do that. None of the evidence is dangerous to the public, Bartholomew said.
No other information has been released.
