The rumors are true: McDonald's does apparently have a secret menu, but they don't want to call it that.
In a recent Reddit AMA with a user who claimed to be a McDonald's manager based in Scotland, the employee revealed that customers can indeed order a secret menu item.

The worker said the secret menu was not officially developed by McDonald’s, but to order from it you just need to ask for extra ingredients.
"Order one and the workers might not know it by name ... but if you explain what it is, and are willing to pay for all the ingredients, it's just another 'grill order' that we can make up," writes OrchidHibiscus.
Among the items you can request:
- The Land, Sea and Air Burger (Big Mac, Filet-O-Fish, & McChicken)
- The Monster Mac (six extra beef patties added)
- The Big McChicken (either Big Mac or McDouble beef patties in between two McChicken patties)
- The McCrepe (hotcake loaded with yogurt parfait and topped with granola and syrup)
Hack the Menu has a complete list of McDonald's offerings. However, McDonald's doesn't really want to call it a secret menu.
"We do not have a secret menu at McDonald's UK," the chain told Mashable. "That's because we love the food that we serve in our restaurants and we don't want to keep it a secret from our customers."
