2 injured in rollover crash in Prospect

PROSPECT, Pa. — Authorities said two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Prospect.

Channel 11's Brandon Hudson reported the crash at the intersection of Routes 422 and 528 involved a transport van for the Butler VA facility and a passenger vehicle.

Investigators said as the VA van approached a construction zone, it slowed down and was rear-ended by the other vehicle, causing the van to roll into the median. The other vehicle then struck the guardrail.

The driver and passenger in the VA van were taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Troopers at the scene said the driver and two juveniles in the other vehicle were checked out at the scene and did not require further treatment.
