Yuille was arrested for allegedly stealing money from another man, police said. He was taken to the Indiana County Jail on charges of robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, disorderly conduct and harassment.
Starke-Clemons was arrested and charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.
A third IUP student, Austin Mundy, 21, of Johnstown, was cited for harassment.
IUP spokeswoman Michelle Fryling said neither Gabriel Yuille nor Kalihf Starke-Clemons would dress for the school’s homecoming game Saturday.
“Those students have been arrested. I can tell you two of the students were football players. They are no longer on the football team roster,” Fryling said.
She said overall that police calls were down this past weekend in comparison to previous Homecoming weekends.
“There certainly were arrests, but no large uncontrolled parties and gatherings and that's really what we were seeking,” Fryling said.
