DEER CREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Three people were killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 79 in Mercer County Friday night.
The accident happened about 6 p.m. in Deer Creek Township after Robert Neubert II, of New York, lost control of his car, which traveled through the median and into oncoming traffic, police said.
According to authorities, Neubert’s car struck a vehicle driven by Susan Thomas, of Sewickley, head-on. Thomas and her passenger, Mary Carmody, died in the crash, investigators said.
Neubert died after he was flown to a hospital, police said.
