3 people flown to hospital after crash in Mercer County

MERCER COUNTY, Pa. — Three people were flown to hospitals after a car crash on Interstate 79 southbound in Mercer County.

According to Mercer County 911, the crash happened around 2:15 p.m. beneath the Mercer Grover City Road overpass in Findley Township.

Dispatch confirmed to Channel 11 that three medical helicopters were called to the scene to transport patients.

There’s currently no word on their conditions or the cause of the crash.
