Man dies after car goes over Thompson Run Bridge in Duquesne

DUQUESNE, Pa. — A man has died after his vehicle went over the Thompson Run Bridge in Duquesne.

According to Duquesne fire chief Frank Cobb, the call came in at 10:50 a.m. for a vehicle over the bridge.

First responders arrived on scene between two and five minutes after the call came in.

Once on scene, first responders found that a man driving Toyota 4 Runner headed north on the bridge lost control of the vehicle.

Cobb said the man in the car was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, which landed on top of him.

The victim has been identified as 56-year-old David Judy.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
