Mt. Washington Transit Tunnel closed, delays expected

PITTSBURGH — The Mt. Washington Transit tunnel is currently closed according to the Port Authority.

Delays are expected on bus and T lines that use the tunnel.

We are estimating all light rail service will be back to regular service as of 9pm this evening.

All outbound Ts are missing the stop at Station Square. If you need to get to get to Station Sq. from downtown please utilize the 48 or 51 buses or take the T to South Hills Junction and transfer to an inbound vehicle.

Buses are being rerouted separately.

The Y1, Y46, Y47, Y49, 39, 40, 41 are being detoured from the South Hills Junction to Station square on the outbound will miss stop at South Busway at Station Square.
