PENN HILLS — Customers noticed a number of issues with the cars they got from Martino Motors off Rodi Road in Penn Hills, from brakes not working to rusty spots that were covered with paint.
On Monday, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced that the dealership is no longer allowed to sell cars after an investigation showed many drivers bought cars that were unsafe.
One woman said her brakes failed while she was driving a car. Another person said duct tape and paint had been used to hide rust and damage.
The public relations director of the Western PA Better Business Bureau told Channel 11 they had 16,000 complaints about car dealerships last year.
