• Woman hit with accidental gunshot, police say

    KITTANNING, Pa. - State police said a man was cleaning his gun inside an Armstrong County home when it accidentally went off and a bullet hit someone.

    Authorities said the incident happened just before midnight at a home on Port Street in Manor Township.

    Channel 11’s Dave Bondy reported that a woman suffered the gunshot wound, but her injuries are not life-threatening. Her name hasn’t been released.
