PITTSBURGH — The ownership affiliate of Beauty Shoppe, perhaps the best known of the home-grown co-working ventures that started in East Liberty before expanding to Downtown, the South Side, Lawrenceville and beyond, is liquidating its assets.

In mid-December, TBS Inc., which did business as Beauty Shoppe, filed for a Chapter 7 liquidation in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

According to court documents, Beauty Shoppe faces more than $2.7 million in debt claims in the bankruptcy filing.
