Beechview business owner living ‘American dream' to rebuild after fire

BEECHVIEW, Pa. — Family members of a Beechview business owner said he will rebuild after fire heavily damaged his auto body shop late Monday night.

The Broadway Avenue  business, PC Auto Repair, caught fire around 8 p.m.
The owner said he and some family members were in the basement when they saw smoke on a security camera and quickly got out of the building.

Family members said , Palmo Cicchino came to the United States in 1979 and couldn't speak English. Since then he built a successful business and family.

The owner’s future son-in-law said he is living the American dream and he won’t let this fire stop him from continuing that dream.

"Make no mistake about it. PC Auto will be back. This guy's a fighter. He is. That's all he knows is how to come back," said  Joshua Fandry.  "At the end of the day, no human life was lost and we're thankful as a family to be where we're at and pull together and everything's going to get better."

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
