Bettis HOF cereal hitting store shelves, profits benefit Bus Stops Here Foundation

PITTSBURGH — Monday, Jerome Bettis paid a visit to the Bettis Grille 36 on Pittsburgh’s North Shore to introduce his Bettis Hall of Fame Crunch cereal.

Bettis HOF Crunch is described as a honey nut-toasted oats cereal that's packaged in a 14-ounce limited edition collector's box, which features a custom illustration of the newest member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  The cereal is available exclusively at all participating Giant Eagle stores and online at www.thebus36.com.

"I just thought it was a great thing to offer to the fans," Bettis said to Channel 11's Tony Atkins.

The cereal is available for a limited time and only 36,000 of the commemorative boxes have been printed.  Fans are encouraged to get their boxes early while supplies last.  The box artwork was designed by Pittsburgh artist Ron Kantrowitz.

PLB Sports announced they’re proud to be partnering with Bettis once again.  Bettis HOF Crunch is the latest in a long line of products featuring Jerome.

Before Bettis HOF Crunch there was a salsa, mustard, barbeque sauce and another cereal.

A portion of the proceeds from Bettis HOF Crunch will benefit The Jerome Bettis Bus Stops Here Foundation. Bettis’ foundation is dedicated to improving the overall quality of life for troubled and underprivileged inner-city youth.
