PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police called the bomb squad to a bus shelter in the North Side because of an unattended backpack.
The bus shelter is in front of the Zone 1 police station on Brighton Road.

According to Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE, officers were told to say away from the front of the building, but the sidewalk was kept open.
Brighton Road was closed at the intersection of Jacksonia Street.
A robot investigated and secured the backpack, which was apparently empty.
