PITTSBURGH — Police are investigating a crash that sent one car into the side of a building on Pittsburgh's North Side Saturday afternoon.
The accident was reported at 12:44 p.m. at the intersection of Spring Garden and Madison avenues.

When police arrived at the scene, a 54-year-old woman who was driving a red 2007 Chevrolet Malibu involved in the accident told police she was proceeding through an intersection on a green light when another car struck her and caused her to run into the vacant structure.
The driver of the other vehicle fled form the scene.
The driver and her passenger declined medical treatment at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
