WHITAKER, Pa. — A car has slammed into a convenience store in Whitaker.
Police, firefighters and medics are on the scene at Bob’s Autotorium on Route 837 right across the Rankin Bridge.
Our crews on scene could see a car on its side that went into the building.
One person was taken away from the scene in an ambulance. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
Channel 11 talked to the owner of the business, Bob Ackerman, back in 2021. At the time, he told us nine major accidents had happened at the business. It’s unknown how many, if any, have happened since then.
