ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. — A carnival held in Ellwood City raised money for the family of an 8-year-old girl who is in need of a multiple-organ transplant.
Kyree Beachem is waiting for a liver, small bowel and pancreas. Her mother said her condition is worsening and she has been moved higher on the waiting list.

The Providence Baptist Church held its annual carnival Saturday, proceeds from which will go toward helping Kyree's family with finances.
"I'm pretty much speechless at this point. The turnout and the community coming behind us is absolutely amazing," said Nan Beachem, Kyree's mother.
Each year, the event benefits a different family in need.
