"I haven't slept. I can't eat. Every time I close my eyes, I see his face. It's not fair," Campbell's mother told Channel 11's Melanie Gillespie Tuesday.

Campbell attended West Shamokin High School in nearby Rural Valley. The neighboring communities are about 50 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
“He was an amazing young man. He always made you smile. He was just beautiful inside and out,” Damian’s mother said.
The coroner says Campbell died Monday about 7 p.m. at ACMH Hospital after being brought there from home.
“As far as we know, he fell at school and hurt his chest. That’s all we really know at this point,” his mom said.

The coroner said an autopsy was performed and there were no signs of injury, struggle or trauma.

The cause and manner of death is pending microscopic tissue and toxicology exams.
