Coroner responds to report of person hit by train in Westmoreland County

HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — The Westmoreland County coroner was called to the scene of an incident involving a person struck by a train.

The incident was reported around 9 p.m. in the area of Roseytown Road in Hempfield Township, a Westmoreland County 911 official confirms.

The official said the coroner was called to the scene and there were no other reported injuries.

No other information was immediately available.
