HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A teen was hit and killed by a train in Westmoreland County on Monday night.
The incident was reported around 9 p.m. in the area of Roseytown Road in Hempfield Township.
Pennsylvania State Police said the person killed was a 14-year-old boy who was described as a runaway.
A cause and manner of death are still pending.
